Charlotte Summers BSc Physiotherapy is the Head of Physiotherapy at Spire St. Anthony's hospital
Ms Summers is a fellow or member of the following medical and professional societies: Health and Care Professions Council, Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.
Education & Training
She qualified in 2009 with a first-class honours degree in physiotherapy from the University of Hertfordshire. She has attended multiple post-graduate courses including hydrotherapy, acupuncture and Pilates training. She has worked in a variety of NHS, private practice and sports settings, including working as a volunteer physiotherapist at the Commonwealth games. Ms Summers has considerable experience in assessing and treating sports injuries, orthopaedics and musculoskeletal conditions. She is currently studying towards a Master's degree in advanced musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Employment & leadership roles
As well as being Head of Physiotherapy at Spire St. Anthony's, she is the lead physiotherapist for Dorking RFC, and have worked with county level rugby from juniors to seniors over the past six years.
